Ivanhoe Congregational Church (UCC), Mundelein, is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to work part-time to support communications and day-to-day office work.

Begin the holy season of Lent with a moment of quiet, accessible grace as you drive through our parking lot on February 18, 2026, for Ashes-to-Go, between 7:00 and 8:00 a.m.

On Sunday, November 9, 2025, our morning worship will include a sacred time of remembrance, honoring friends and family members who have died within the past year. During the service, we will read their names, sound a chime, and light a candle in their memory.

Ivanhoe members enthusiastically support The Night Ministry, serving Chicago's homeless community. Throughout the year, members volunteer at The Crib, and several times a year, we hold collection drives for things sorely needed.

Join us this October for a Wednesday evening book series on Jeff Chu's Good Soil: The Education of an Accidental Farmhand. Together we'll explore this "tribute to friendship, the natural world, and love in unlikely places," with conversations running Oct. 1–Nov. 5 in person or via Zoom.

We invite you to join us this Sunday as we welcome Reverend Lark Hapke to Ivanhoe as our new Interim Minister.

Last Sunday evening, antisemitic graffiti declaring "Hate Jews" was spray-painted on a wall outside Congregation Or Shalom in Vernon Hills. This act of evil is not remote but present in our own community, and we stand in full solidarity with our Jewish neighbors by sharing the following message of support.

Our VBS is partnering with Fremont Township to support their Food Pantry. A table has been set up for donations beginning Sunday, August 3, through Sunday, August 10.
