A grand time was had by all at Ivanhoe Congregational Church's annual blessing of the animals. 
Dogs and cats from near and far made new friends while being blessed by Pastor Kris. The day was beautiful and the animals well behaved as we shared in this glorious event the love of all people and all creatures.
Support was given to Animal Education and Rescue, a Libertyville, 
Illinois organization that supports fostering of animals of all sorts. You can read more about them at https://www.aear.org. Thanks to all for your support.
Sunday, September 3 Ivanhoe Congregational Church will hold worship outdoor for the annual “Blessing of the Animals”. Meet the critters that bring us so much enjoyment.
Please consider bringing a donation for Animal Education and Rescue to our September 3 Pet Blessing service. A representative will be present to share about the mission of the organization. Donations of:
Dry un-dyed cat or dog food
Dishwashing or laundry detergent
Paper Towels
Heart-Guard or Front Line
Walmart or Target Gift Cards
Large black trash bags
are appreciated. Financial support is always appreciated to help with foster and medical expenses.
