Breaking news from PADS Lake County-A new grant has enabled hotels to be used for ALL PADS clients for the 2023/2024 season. While they determine what volunteer needs will be in the coming season, we will wait for them. We hope to support them in a different capacity this season, and will communicate it as soon as we know. Ivanhoe Congregational Church's PADS mission will begin October 3, this year. Volunteer help is needed for this important mission. Each first Tuesday through April we will staff shifts from 6:00 pm until 7:00 am Wednesday to provide shelter and meals to approximately 30 of Lake County's 300 plus homeless. We will advise a Signup Genius online registration in the coming weeks. Join Ivanhoe friends, and make new ones while serving some of the 945 meals that are served each week.
