SOCKTOBER Donations

SOCKTOBER is the annual Ivanhoe Sock Drive in support of The Night Ministry. Ivanhoe has participated for many years, and this is a wonderful way to help others.

The primary emphasis of the drive is to collect new adult-size white, gray, or black crew-length athletic socks. Ivanhoe has donated several hundred pairs of socks each of the past fourteen years, with over 800 pairs last year.

You can also donate any of the following items that are in constant need by The Night Ministry:

• Full or travel-size toiletry items, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, body lotion, mouthwash, lip balm, comb/brush, body wipes
• Adult-size new clothing items, sweatshirts/hoodies, sweatpants, underwear, t-shirts, thermal long underwear, stocking caps, winter coats, gym shoes, boots 
• Gift cards, $10-25 to Amazon, Dollar Tree, Target, Walmart, Jewel-Osco, Aldi, CVS, Walgreens; $5-10 McDonald's, Burger King, Dunkin Donuts, Subway, Starbucks, Wendy’s
• One-day Ventra passes for use on CTA/Pace
